Because you're a national of Canada, you'll be thrilled to discover that you don't need a visa to study in United States. Rejoice!
Still, that doesn't mean you can just pack up and leave for United States. You will still need to arrange a few things:
Sure, those won't be that easy to get. But, hey! - at least you skipped the student visa part, so that's something, isn't it?
Don't forget you are also allowed to work during your studies. Usually, students who are EU-nationals studying in an EU-country don't have any work restrictions. Others are generally allowed to work for up to 20 hours per week. Just make sure to check what the law in United States has to say about that before looking for a job.
What else can we say but: good luck and never forget to have fun during your studies!
A young experiment with democracy and a shared national love for fried food, the United States has a long, unique history, especially with producing some of our favorite films and television shows. Add in an enthusiastic love for baseball and (American) football, and you'd come close to arriving at the image of American culture.
International students from all over the world look for a Master's degree in the U.S., and are curious to find out whether Americans are as loud and silly as they are on television. Being an international student in the United States, though, brings you in contact with the top-ranked and largest universities in the world, and they are ready to welcome students like you every year. You can find graduate degrees in the United States on any subject, from Business and Management, Computer Science, Medical Science, Engineering to Teaching, or Psychology.
