History
The Academy was founded on September 6, 1921 as the Latvian Institute of Physical Education, but in 8. November 1991 it was renamed as the Latvian Academy of Sport Education (LASE).
Research
Latvian Academy of Sport Education (LASE) is an academic and professional state higher education and research institution. Its main objective is to provide students with the opportunity to obtain higher academic and higher vocational education and preparedness, develop sport science and research in health care and sports, foster culture in order to preserve necessary intellectual and physical potential of the Latvian Republic (LR), promoting and ensuring nation harmonious development.

That was so good I learn new skills and also new things to other people
How I feel about studying in LASE
I like the courses I'm learning, also most of the lectors are able to gain my attention(even though all of the studying is happening remotely) and make me feel interested in what is being teached. The 1 star I've taken away is because of the student interface, where you can access all the learning materials, grades and homeworks that have to be done. I really don't enjoy this system, because it is hard to navigate through it and find exactly what you need. Also there isn't a place where all the due homeworks are shown. Overall the website of the academy is not well-made. That is the thing that could be seriously improved. If there would be a clear place where all the homeworks are shown, then I think there would be a big improvement in having the students giving in their homework at the right time and not past the given time.
I am smart, kind, simple girl who loves nature, sport and medicine. O yeah I have lot of hobbies. Lot to tell about myself.
There is lot of studies and it all was interesting. I think I just needed more serious treatment of students

Library services
The Library collection is now 243,607 copies and is composed of mainly study literature in various branches of science - pedagogy, psychology, physiology, sports medicine, a.o. sports science related fields, as well as reference literature and fiction, periodicals in Latvian, Russian, English and German.
Students take active part in sports events, as well as different social events.
Accreditation
The Latvian Academy of Sport Education offers acredited study programmes. The awarded Diploma is recognized in the European Union countries, as well as other countries in the world.
