About

History

Since it was founded in 1994, the Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU) has evolved into an indispensable educational establishment in the Neu-Ulm/Ulm region. We now have more than 3,800 students in our three departments of Health Management, Information Management, and Business and Economics and our Centre for Professional and Postgraduate Studies.

Education

The University of Applied Sciences Neu-Ulm trains its students in Bachelor's and Master's and further education courses in business management. Practical teaching, applied research projects and the early networking of students and graduates with potential employers are the focus of higher education.

Research

To step up collaboration with business companies, the following centres have been created at the Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU). These combine academic training and continuing education with applied research and business practice. Besides technology transfer, the centres strive to transfer knowledge between universities in Germany and abroad. Student and teaching and non-teaching staff exchanges and field trips, as well as common degree programmes and courses and cooperative doctorate programmes are instrumental in achieving this.

Career

The Career Service of the Alumni & CampusClub keeps close contact with companies and former students of the HNU. Using this network we can offer excellent support in searching for internships or a job.

Students can use our board for jobs and internships to explore the current offers and select them according to different parameters.

Businesses can place advertisements free of charge and recruit future employees for their company.

Student dormitories are amongst the most inexpensive accommodation options. There are different dormitories in Ulm and Neu-Ulm, some of them are operated by public institutions, some commercially.Prices for accommodation vary according to location, size (single room or flat) and existing furniture and/or joint facilities.

As a rule regarding the dormitories run by public institutions, students can stay in the dormitories for up to six semesters. Deposits must be made; currently they usually amount to € 300. It is advisable to look for a room in good time since rooms are assigned in the order of incoming applications. There are long waiting lists, especially during the semester.

Student Reviews

One of he dormitory that university recomends is not in good conditions. International office is kind and helpful, but some teachers arenït. They are pretty german-oriented (local students tend to be lazy to speak in English, or be open with international students)

Totally satisfied with German teaching methods. I see quite differences regarding to Czech or Greek education. Mostly proffesors only lead the way of topic and students (locals and internationals together) discuss. Also we are learning things which you really use in your life and which are actual. Also we are writing lots of case studies and essays and making...
