It provides a supportive learning environment, which I really liked because the lecturers are knowledgeable and willing to help students when they struggle with their studies. The campus is generally safe and has facilities such as classrooms, libraries, and study areas that support learning, and the university encourages discipline and academic focus among students. However, I disliked that some administrative services are slow, and students sometimes experience delays in getting assistance or responses, while limited resources and weak communication can also affect the learning experience. Overall, I would recommend it to students who are serious about their education, as it has strong academic potential, and with improvements in administration, resources, and communication, the university could offer an even better student experience.
I am currently a first-year BBA student at the Schulich School of Business, and my experience so far has been very positive. The program is fast-paced and academically rigorous, but it places a strong emphasis on developing practical, real-world skills rather than just memorizing information. One of the standout aspects of Schulich is how much professors genuinely care about student success. Many courses incorporate hands-on learning, group work, and real-life applications, which make the material more engaging and relevant. The program encourages students to think critically and apply concepts in meaningful ways. However, the environment is quite competitive, especially with a large number of driven and high-achieving students. Balancing academics with extracurricular involvement and career preparation can feel overwhelming at times. Overall, Schulich offers a strong foundation for students who are motivated and willing to take initiative. While it can be demanding, it is ultimately a rewarding experience that prepares students well for future career opportunities.
Schulich School of Business offers a rigorous and well-regarded business education that balances strong academics with practical, real-world learning. The program is known for its case-based approach, which helps students develop critical thinking, presentation, and problem-solving skills that are directly applicable in professional settings. Many professors bring industry experience into the classroom, making lessons more engaging and relevant. Group work is a major component of the program, which can be demanding at times but ultimately prepares students well for collaborative environments in internships and full-time roles. The workload is challenging, but manageable with good time management. Schulich also stands out for its career resources, networking opportunities, and strong alumni presence. There are frequent employer events, case competitions, and student-led initiatives that allow students to build experience beyond coursework. While competition among students can feel intense, it also creates a motivated and driven environment. Overall, Schulich is an excellent choice for students who are ambitious, willing to work hard, and looking for a business program with strong academic credibility and career outcomes.
