Mendel University in Brno is the oldest independent specialized university in the Czech Republic. Its founding was preceded, from 1864 onwards, by efforts to establish an agricultural university in Moravia which, however, failed because of obstacles of a political, economic and ethnic character.
Mendel University offers more than 100 different graduate degree programmes in Czech and in English languages. The University comprises one University Institute and five faculties: AgriSciences, Business and Economics, Forestry and Wood Technology, Regional Development and International Studies and Horticulture.
The research centres, grant-funded research, specific research (especially research of the students in PhD and Master's study programs) and participation in international research programs are some of the priority activities in the internationalization of the university. At the same time, these are the areas into which the available scientific research capacity of the university departments is directed.
The long tradition of Mendel University in Brno and the professional and teaching expertise of academic staff have created very good conditions for high-quality, interesting studies and good career opportunities for graduates.

I found the university staffs are supportive. Modern curriculum, technically well-equipped classes, labs, and libraries. Popular among many international students (20%). Professors are talented in their domain and cooperative & kind as well
I appreciated the diversity and their realization of adopting and teaching modern technologies in such a dynamic world.
I still don’t know yet
