It´s a small cosmos with alot of possibilities and amazing workshops. Experiments and a research mindset is welcomed and generally speaking the lucturers are very kind and supportif.

Library services
The Library at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle is the most important specialist academic library for the art and design of the 20th and 21st centuries. It is open to everyone. University associates and external users from Halle and its surroundings are entitled to borrow items.
Medical services
The psycho-social counselling service aims to provide a confidential contact person for students who wish to talk about personal problems in counselling discussions. These problems could include work or concentration difficulties, exam anxiety, stress related to studying at university, relationship problems, conflicts with parents, depressive moods, problems with self-esteem etc.
Sports facilities
The spectrum of activities offered ranges from aerobics, thai chi, self-defence, salsa and flamenco through to percussion and yoga. The university also has its own well-equipped fitness studio. This is located at Neuwerk 7 and can be accessed from Monday to Friday from 7.00 a.m. to 10.30 p.m. with prior registration.
