The Institute of Communication Arts TRACOR has been working on projects, advising on contracts, sponsoring doctoral theses and other actions aimed at promoting research in its own offer specialized and vocational education areas.The scientific work has been geared specifically to promote academic research of the societal effects of the use of new communication technologies. The work has focused on:

• analysis of programming the television industry in times of child protection;
• the study of the effects on children's hearings in public and private television;
• measuring the degree of compliance with public services and the level of take corporate responsibility of commercial television.
