The IU International University of Applied Sciences in Bad Honnef was founded in 1998.
Most of our programmes are available completely digitally or on-site in Berlin or Bad Honnef, near Cologne. In this way, we can focus on welcoming international students and providing them with a comfortable way to study that suits their needs. Our courses are all taught in English and the contents are tailored to building careers in an international environment.
When you join IU International University of Applied Sciences International, you have much more freedom to choose when, where, and how you study—no matter where in the world you come from. On campus our programmes are now available with two additional intakes, you can start in January, April, July or Oktober.

We seek to assist outbound IU International University of Applied Sciences students by informing about options and requirements for studies abroad and are also closely involved in guiding and welcoming inbound international and exchange students.
At our Bad Honnef campus, you can study and live on the grounds of the historical St. Anno Park at the very center of the city. The campus is 100% international and multicultural: Students, professors and instructors from over 100 countries live and study here. Our students live in six modern blocks of flats. The monthly rental price ranges from 415-457€.Off campus accommodation is also available, prices ranging between 400-500€.
The library catalogue is available on-campus and also off-campus, and offers access to extensive research databases.
We want to make sure students studying on campus, in Berlin or Bad Honnef, have the ideal place to learn but also enjoy student life. Students who want to focus on their studies shouldn’t have to spend time in crowded lecture halls or dusty libraries and should have a place to relax and enjoy the student experience. Our locations offer you everything you need for your studies and your well-being: modern seminar rooms, libraries, IT support, WIFI and dining options. There are also many various associations and sports clubs to join so you can enjoy your free time and your studies together with your fellow students.
IU International attaches great importance to providing their students with first-class and well-structured degree programmes along with a high level of personal support.
