MediCampus Europeo (MCE) is a cutting-edge Faculty of Medicine based in Malta, fully accredited in June 2024 by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA). MCE offers a programme taught entirely in English, a modern campus, and clinical internships from the third year in top European hospitals, allowing students to experience different healthcare systems across Europe.
Education
MCE Faculty of Medicine combines high academic standards with a modern, student-focused approach. The Degree Programme in Medicine (MD) is taught entirely in English by high-profile professors and lasts six years with mandatory attendance. Graduates are awarded the title of Doctor of General Medicine, automatically recognized across the EU and in many other countries.
From the first year students benefit from hands-on practical training alongside core theoretical subjects, and from the third year onwards they complete clinical internships in teaching hospitals across Europe. Teaching is delivered in small groups, ensuring close interaction with lecturers and the progressive development of clinical skills.

Medical services
At MediCampus Europeo, practical training begins on campus in modern laboratories equipped with advanced technology, microscopes, and anatomical models. From the third year onwards, students complete off-campus hospital internships in teaching hospitals across Europe, including Malta, Austria, Slovakia, Italy, Germany, and the Czech Republic.
Campus life
MediCampus Europeo facilities are located on a single campus, offering students a cohesive and convenient study environment close to the city. The MCE Campus is housed in the historic and well-known Casa Leone building in Floriana, just 800 metres from Valletta. Malta International Airport, residential areas, and major hotels are all reachable within a ten-minute drive.
The campus covers approximately 1,300 square metres across five floors and features modern classrooms and laboratories, study areas and welcoming common spaces. Students can also enjoy a panoramic sea-view rooftop terrace, an on-campus cafeteria, a rooftop restaurant, and additional restaurants and services located immediately outside the campus.
Sports facilities
While MediCampus Europeo does not have on-campus sports facilities, students have access to a wide range of gyms and sports facilities located close to the campus. These include fitness centres, gyms, and recreational sports venues, allowing students to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle alongside their academic commitments. The central location of the campus makes these facilities easily accessible on foot or by public transport.
Student clubs

Accreditation
MediCampus Europeo and all its study programmes are accredited by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA) and operate under the Maltese Education Act. The MFHEA is a full member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA).
Medical studies at MCE lead to a degree in Human Medicine awarded by Trakia University, a recognised public university. In line with European legislation, medical degrees awarded by Trakia University are subject to automatic recognition within the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway, and may also be recognised in other countries worldwide in accordance with national regulations.
