History
Learn Russian in the European Union, established in 2004, is a provider of customized Russian-language study abroad programmes for US and European universities, government institutions, and private learners.
Education
They can build a bespoke one-on-one “dream programme” for graduate students, industry professionals, diplomats, military linguists, FAOs, and other customers with high expectations.
Undergraduates can register for one semester or two consecutive semesters of study, as well as for a summer or a winter programme. The semester abroad programmes offer numerous elective courses, thus enabling students to customize their curriculum.

Learn Russian in the EU students can choose to stay with a Russian host family, in a hotel, or arrange lodging independently.It is recommended to stay in a private room in a typical local Russian-speaking family, where students can take advantage of a friendly atmosphere to practice using Russian in a relaxed and natural way.
ICT services
High-speed Wi-Fi is available in classrooms, host families, and all public places, café, libraries, intercity buses, and trains.A local SIM card with mobile Internet access is included in the Welcome kit.
Medical services
Semester abroad programmes include a local health and accidents insurance. This insurance is very convenient when dealing with minor health issues (consultations with a specialist, infection, trauma, tests, hospital service).Learn Russian in the EU provides 24/7 in-country support throughout the programme.
Campus life
Daugavpils is situated in Latvia, a small country on the coast of the Baltic Sea. Daugavpils is the second largest city in Latvia and the perfect location for Russian language immersions. Daugavpils is a unique place – a Russian-language enclave, the largest Russian-speaking city in the European Union and NATO.
Sports facilities
Their dedicated manager will arrange sports events, help you find the best option for your routine exercises, and take you to exciting competitions. Of course, visiting an authentic Russian banya (steam house) is also available!
