History
GBS began in 2010 as a specialist training centre for finance and investment banking, offering courses to students from around the world. Over the last 11 years, we’ve evolved and grown so we can offer more qualifications to even more students.
Fast-forward to 2021 and we have almost 20,000 students studying at campuses in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Dubai and Malta.
Education
Whether you study on-campus or online, you will always have access to the same high quality teaching and student support.
We have campuses in Malta and Dubai, plus eight campuses in four of the UK’s biggest and most exciting cities – London, Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds. All of our campuses are equipped with state-of-the-art teaching facilities, plus dedicated spaces for study and socialising.
Career
Studying with us is about so much more than gaining a qualification. We care about personal growth and we’re here to make a significant contribution to our communities through better opportunities and employment prospects for all who join the GBS family.

Medical services
In Malta, healthcare is provided through both private and government sectors. Government hospitals offer free services, but students must possess a valid temporary residence card to access these facilities.
Private hospitals, however, require payment for treatment. Additionally, there is a doctor's clinic near the college campus where students can receive medical care.
Campus life
GBS Malta is located in the heart of St Julians, with everything you need at hand. All classrooms are equipped with the latest technology for teaching and learning, and there are dedicated spaces for study, research and socialising. Our rooftop terrace has views of the surrounding area, and is a great place to meet your fellow students.
The campus has coffee shops, cafes and local stores on the doorstep, and is centrally located for all that Malta has to offer – just 10 minutes from Sliema, 30 minutes from Valletta and a five-minute stroll from a small sandy beach.
Sports facilities
We organize regular football matches for our students to keep them engaged and active. These matches typically occur each week. We have two teams—one from English Path and one from GBS Malta—that play together, promoting unity, diversity, and fitness.
Student clubs
Each class has student representatives who are elected through a voting process. Students must nominate themselves for the representative position, and the election determines who will serve as the representative. We have a GBS Malta student who is a student evaluator at MFHEA.
Moreover, GBS Malta actively participates in social activities such as beach clean-ups and charity work, with students receiving certificates of participation.
GBS HE Malta is a licenced Higher Education institution (MFHEA Licence Number: 2022-010). Our licence has been approved by our regulator, Malta Further & Higher Education Authority (MFHEA) who is an independent, transparent, and international authority. Our courses are in line with the Malta Qualifications Framework and the European Qualification Framework.
