History
Founded by American Protestant missionaries, Anatolia was originally located in Asia Minor and evolved from a seminary in Constantinople, which began in 1840. In 1924, Anatolia relocated to Thessaloniki, where the greatest part of the refugee influx from Asia Minor had settled. The school moved to its present location on a fortyfive acre campus a few miles from the center of the city.

Student services
ACT's Learning Hub offers students a warm and supportive atmosphere in which students can receive assistance with their writing assignments and overall development of language skills. Located on the 2nd floor of the Bissell Library, the Learning Hub also houses the Math Tutoring services, and operates on an appointment or walk-in basis throughout the academic year, during which times both professional and peer tutors are available to students of all levels to assist them in improving their written and oral expression. It is recommended that all first-semester students visit the Learning Hub.
Housing services
ACT Housing provides first-year ACT students with the opportunity to live in a supportive environment, sharing their university experience. A key component to the ACT housing is the ACT Residence Assistants (RA) who live in each of our dorms and work to create an interactive and engaging environment for the students. Throughout the year, the RA is an excellent resource for students and offers helpful information about ACT and Thessaloniki.
