History
- Our post-secondary institution's story began in 1964, when our first group of students attended classes that fall. At that time, our institution was known as Red Deer College, or RDC.
- In 2021, the Government of Alberta granted our institution approval to change our name and designation to now serve students and our communities as Red Deer Polytechnic.
