These competencies are identified by and built with employers to ensure relevance in the job market.
Research
- Tri-council’s Research Support Fund program assists Canadian post-secondary institutions with the costs associated with managing their research enterprise, helping them to maintain a world-class research environment.
- Bow Valley College allocates the Research Support Fund for management and administration of research enterprise which is one of the five categories of allowable expenses.
- This funding enhances our applied research through supporting grant applications and proposal development.

Very good
The university is very friendly and they are eager to help. Everything about Bow valley speaks excellent and I would recommend most future student to attend Bow valley college especially international students.
Super good so far
Instructors are clear, concise and are just generally amazing in how they carry everyone along. They also deal very well with the fact that most classes are full of international students with diverse personalities. The environment is also incredibly engaging and conducive for learning.
Over all academic experience
My experience at the school has been largely positive and fulfilling. What I really liked was the supportive learning environment and the dedication of the lecturers, who were always willing to guide and encourage students. The curriculum was well-structured and helped me build both academic knowledge and practical skills. I also appreciated the discipline and opportunities for personal growth the school provided. However, there is room for improvement, especially in areas such as learning facilities and access to more modern resources, which would further enhance the student experience. Overall, I would summarise my study experience as rewarding, educational, and beneficial in preparing me for future academic and professional pursuits.

- Facilities Management is responsible for the planning, development, maintenance, and safety of all the sites and services within Bow Valley College’s campus community. Through efficient and environmentally sustainable operations, we offer building maintenance, snow removal and landscaping, construction projects and occupant comfort including: heating and cooling, lighting, elevators and other professional services to provide a physical environment that supports and enhances our academic space for students and staff.
