ISTAO - Istituto Adriano Olivetti Ancona

The Institute Adriano Olivetti is one of the oldest managerial schools in Italy. ISTAO was founded in 1967 by the Economist Giorgio Fuà with the involvement of the Olivetti Foundation, the Social Research Council and the support of CRN.

Focus on developing entrepreneurs civilly and culturally engaged. An entrepreneur-leader with the mission of guiding and supporting the growth of a group of people making them feel involved in a shared creative project of which to be proud of.

From its establishment, ISTAO has covered the role of privileged representative of institutions, enterprises and their organization for the analysis of the drivers, limits and trajectories of development towards original interpretation, models and indications for politics and strategies.  The investigations conducted are applied on the territory and on specific productive realities and are usually driven from ideas developed from educational programmes of the Institute and, therefore, are accomplished in synergy with the teaching activities.

ISTAO offers a continuous activity of “counselling” for university graduates to support them in their job placement. Through a set of work-shops held by experts, business and managerial testimonials, a set of topics are addressed, such as:
