- Welcome to the Australian Institute of Business (AIB), a 34-year-old business school that delivers practical, high quality and innovative education to its students.
Education
- One of the primary roles of an Academic Board is to foster excellence in teaching, learning, scholarship and research. It is a role that we take very seriously here at AIB, and one that determines the nature of the oversight given to the AIB programmes and academic activities.
- AIB provides students with the opportunity to apply their studies directly to the workplace, resulting in fast returns on investment for both students and their employers.
- AIB is highly regarded, both nationally and internationally, offering the full suite of business degrees, including the prestigious PhD and the largest MBA in Australia (Australian Government Department of Education & Training, 2016 data).
Research
- The AIB research themes are aligned to investigating practical, contemporary and relevant ‘real world’ business problems using applied business research methodologies in close collaboration with colleagues and industry.
- Sustainable Development: including business response to climate change, water crisis, modern slavey in supply chain, sustainable development goals, financial planning, digital marketing communication;
- Digitalisation: including automation, robotics, and online work, future of global operations/supply networks, big data, artificial intelligence, on-line teaching and learning for working adults;

- The AIB student and alumni community is made up of over 16,000 business professionals, entrepreneurs and industry leaders, living and working across 95 countries.

Accreditation
- AIB is registered as a higher education provider in Australia by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA), the sole government body in Australia authorised to register institutions of higher education, including universities.
- The TEQSA National Register provides a central access point to accredited qualifications offered by registered higher education providers.
- The Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) is the national policy for regulated qualifications in Australian education and training. It incorporates the qualifications from each education and training sector into a single comprehensive national qualifications framework.
- AIB’s MBA is nationally accredited in Canada by the National Centre for Management Accreditation (NCMA) of the Canadian Institute of Management (CIM).
