History
Chu Hai College of Higher Education traces its origins back to 1947, when a group of prominent educators, financiers, and legislators founded Chu Hai University in Guangzhou, China with the mission of educating the younger generation, and helping to rebuild the country immediately after the World War II.
Education
The school now has a Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, a Faculty of Science and Technology, and a Faculty of Business, offering nearly 20 master's and bachelor's degree programs

Student services
As the main window of the College to the community, the Communications and Public Relations Office (CPRO) makes every attempts to publicize the College’s long history, visions and missions, great achievements, latest news, academic departments and programmes, etc. through its official website, media, activities, receptions, visits and so on.
Library services
There are 18 PCs and 10 Mac computers within the Library for users to conduct research, access internet or online resources.
ICT services
The Education Technology Service Office (ETSO) is committed to providing comprehensive information technology support and services to school faculty and students. Its work includes management of computer hardware, software, and network systems, support for teaching and research, data management and security, and media technology support.
Campus life
Since 1 September 2016, the College has been operating on its all-new campus at the idyllic Gold Coast near Tuen Mun. Against the backdrop of the rolling green hills of the Tai Lam Countrypark, its iconic buildings are blessed with fine views of the picturesque Marine Park and Castle Peak Bay.
The new campus is built to the highest standards to meet the needs of a modern university. Endowed with state-of-the-art facilities, it provides a perfect environment for teaching, studying and research. In addition to fully equipped classrooms, the campus features facilities such as crossmedia visual production studio, architecture studios, civil engineering laboratories, language laboratory and computer centres.
