1962: Chubu Junior College of Technology established with majors in Mechanical Engineering. First President MIURA Kohei installed.

Also, the Chubu University Support Committee, involving mainly parents of Chubu University students, tirelessly supports the continuous development of the university's education and research capabilities, extracurricular activities, welfare facilities, and employment opportunities.
Housing services
There are many boarding houses and apartments around the university that are conveniently located and happy to accept overseas students. Compared to larger cities, rental accommodation in Kasugai is quite inexpensive. The university also offers help to overseas students trying to find accommodation.
Library services
The Miura Memorial Library, with three stories above ground and two underground and with a total floor area of 12,109.9 square meters, boasts various types of reading rooms with 962 seats in total.
ICT services
The Information Systems Center is equipped with 500 computers. Specialized instructors are available to advise students on computer-related queries covering all levels from introductory information management technology to programming and network systems.

Campus life
The Campus Plaza is an 'information station' equipped with all the facilities and equipment necessary to student life. In addition to the information corner which posts class-related news, there is also a student lounge, a convenience store, a post office and ATM machines. Not only that, a book shop, stationary store, a travel agency, fast-food shops, and a locker room are also available for the benefit of the students.
Sports facilities
Center for Sports and Cultural Activities is ideal for both extra-curricular student activities and A/B sports classes. The multi-purpose center boasts a full range of facilities including: an auditorium housing two gymnasiums (Main Arena and Sub Arena), an indoor pool, three sports grounds, a baseball ground, six tennis courts, a dance studio, martial arts hall, archery ground, weight training room, and table tennis facilities. In addition, the building houses a club house, assembly rooms, and locker rooms.
