Telkom University was established on August 14, 2013, by the Decree of Director General of Higher Education (Kemendikbud) number 309/E/0/2013. Telkom University is a private university established by Telkom Education Foundation. It was formed out of a merger of four private higher educations.
As a University in the field of Engineering, the learning process is also taking place in the laboratory. Currently. TES has 4 laboratorIes spread out in four (4) faculties i.e. Faculty of Electro and Communications, Industrial Engineering. lntormation Technology and Science.

Telkom University’s dormitory is located inside of the campus. For international students, we provide Lingian Building for dormitory. Almost all our international students live at Lingian Building during their study.
The main campus site of Telkom University extends on the 48ha-area of Bandung Technoplex (BT-Plex), on Jalan Telekomunikasi – Terusan Buahbatu, Kabupaten Bandung. Other campus is located in Gegerkalong Hilir area, north of the city of Bandung, at the office area of PT. Telkom's Research and Development Center and Telkom Corporate University/Telkom Training Center.
The sports Club is a forum for students to channel their talents in sports. In this club, each unit has trainers who are experts in their fields. This UKM can foster sportsmanship and competitive spirit in students so that it can give birth to competitive athletes who are ready to take part in competitions both internally and externally on campus.
The Arts and Culture UKM conducts many art activities both internally and externally as a form of art appreciation and enhancing student creativity. The Arts and Culture UKM usually contains student associations from various regions of origin throughout Indonesia.Social Club is a student activity unit that focuses on social and leadership fields.
