Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná (Unioeste)

Unioeste began, in 1994, as the confederacy of municipal Colleges, that were created, in Cascavel (FECIVEL, 1972), Foz do Iguaçu (FACISA, 1979), Marechal Cândido Rondon (FACIMAR, 1980) and Toledo (FACITOL, 1980). Since 1994, Unioeste has quickly evolved into the most important university of the whole Western and Southwestern region of Paraná.

There are multiple numbers focusing on areas of Economy, Social Sciences, Fishery Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Philosophy, Chemistry, Social Work, Business Administration, Economy, Law and more.

The most important resource of Unioeste is its talented and highly esteemed faculty. The faculty of Unioeste is composed by 57 postdocs and 693 PhD´s, on which many professors are recognized for their exceptional research performance in many areas of knowledge.
