It is nice
I really liked using my computer for projects and présentation, in college I have learned a lot of things and I really improved my skills
Reflecting on My Master's in Software Engineering
My name is Boukarabila Rihab Wahiba, and I graduated with a Master's degree in Software Engineering in July 2025. This two-year program was an incredible adventure that felt like a real-world experience, and I'm confident I've built a strong foundation in the field. I especially liked the comprehensive curriculum, which covered a wide range of essential topics. These included "Requirements Engineering", "Object-Oriented Analysis" and "Design and Software Architecture Techniques", and courses like "Advanced Algorithms", "Advanced Databases", "Advanced Networks". The countless hours I spent in labs and on academic projects were invaluable, as they allowed me to gain hands-on experience and test my real abilities. However, I believe the program could be improved in a few key areas. While we did take an AI course, it only covered some foundational algorithms, and we didn't get the chance to dive deep into practical applications or advanced topics. This is a crucial gap, especially given how rapidly AI is transforming the tech industry. Additionally, I believe the curriculum would benefit greatly from opportunities for internships and collaboration with professors in Europe. This exposure would help students stay current with the latest technological trends and better prepare them for the global market. Overall, my master's degree was a formative experience that fueled my passion for technology. It solidified my desire to specialize further, particularly in the field of AI. I'm now eager to pursue another master's degree in AI to satisfy this hunger for knowledge and learn how to merge my software engineering expertise with cutting-edge AI technologies to create truly impactful solutions.
