Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics

KNUTE was founded in 1946 as the Kyiv branch of the All-Union Correspondence Institute of Soviet Trade. According to the resolution of the Council of Ministers of the USSR of January 14, 1959 № 50 this branch became subordinated to the Kharkiv Institute of Soviet Trade, and later the same year – to the Donetsk Institute of Soviet Trade.

The University is a multidisciplinary institution of higher education that conducts innovative educational activities at various levels of higher education (including PhDs), conducts fundamental and/or applied researches, is a leading scientific and methodological center, has a developed infrastructure of educational, scientific, scientific and production units, promotes the dissemination of scientific knowledge and conducts cultural and educational activities.

• The sphere of science in the University is an essential component of its innovative activity. The directions of scientific researches are defined according to the nation-wide priorities oft science and education development with respect to the activity profile of the University. 
• Most of them are aimed at: solving the problems of the development of merchandise turnover, trade, consumer market development management; forming foreign economic policy of Ukraine; development of competitive environment in the conditions of innovative economic model; improving the methodology of the innovation investment management under conditions of sustainable economic development, and many more.

Main Tasks of the Career Counseling Center

• organization of career counseling, promotional, informational and educational work in secondary schools, lyceum schools, high schools, technical schools and colleges;
• advertising and information activities in the media;
• participation in exhibitions of educational establishments;
• organization of  Welcome Weekends and Hospitality Days;
• career counseling coordination and cooperation with promotion campaign members of the faculties and departments;
• cooperation with educational establishments in accordance with the agreements concluded.
