University of Fortaleza (UNIFOR)

The University is installed on a 490,000-square-meter campus, where there is a megastructure with about 300 classrooms and more than 400 specialized laboratories. The campus also consists of auditoriums, video rooms, library, living center, medical care center, dental clinic, sports park, theater, cultural space, office for legal practice, junior companies, university TV, kindergarten and elementary school and several other centers of academic practice and research.

If in addition to studying at a university of excellence you also want to include sport in your life, either to keep fit or become an athlete in some sport, Unifor is your place. Here you have a wide and complete structure for sports.

At Unifor, you combine moments of learning, leisure and health through projects that encourage sport as a basis for personal and professional life. The University also hosts social projects, reveals new talents and supports high-level athletes who represent the institution in national and international competitions.

There are also sports advisories, in various modalities, which offer classes to all interested parties.

The Edson Queiroz Foundation understands cultural movements as significant allies of education. In this sense, it maintains groups of artistic expressions, coordinated by the University of Fortaleza. They are: Camerata, Coral, Big Band, Dance Company and Mirante Theatre Group.

These groups participate in events promoted by the University, as well as shows in the city and other states, activities that give meaning and recognition to the culture and values of our land. All have the participation of members of the academic community of Unifor (students, teachers or employees) and accept the entry of new components that have technical and artistic skills, according to the specification of each group.
