History
On August 29, 1921 College Principal C.S Shahani made a concerted effort to get Engineering Degree classes started to meet demands of Civil Engineers on the project for completion of the Sukkur Barrage. Application to this effect was made to the University of Bombay through the Commissioner of Sindh, who was ex-officio president of Sindh Collegiate Association.
Research
NED University Journal of Research is the official journal of the NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi. Since 2013, the journal is published biannually in two sections, namely Structural Mechanics and Applied Sciences.
The primary aim of the NED University Journal of Research is to provide an international forum for the dissemination of research and new development in engineering and technology and their applications in the benefit of mankind. The journal focuses on papers with a broad interest, based upon their subject area, the quality of research, the novelty of results and the potential for scientific contribution of the findings.

GOOD FOUNDATION FOR ENTRY LEVEL CHEMICAL ENGINEER
HELLO, MY NAME IS ABDUL QADIR ZAMAN. I AM CURRENTLY A STUDENT OF CHEMICAL ENGINEERING IN MY FINAL YEAR AT NEDUET. I STARTED MY DEGREE IN 2022 AND EXPECT TO COMPLETE IT IN JULY 2026. AFTER WHICH I WANT TO APPLY FOR A MASTER'S AT ANY UNIVERSITY IN THE USA. DURING MY DEGREE I DID 3 INTERNSHIPS: ONE IN A CHEMICAL PLANT WHERE I OBSERVED THE IMPORTANCE OF UTILITIES, ONE IN THE TEXTILE INDUSTRY WHERE I LEARNED HOW FABRICS ARE PRODUCED, AND ONE IN THE DYEING INDUSTRY. NOW IN FUTURE I WANT TO MATER OF CHEMICAL AND ALSO WANT TO GAIN ON EXPERICE IN SAME CITY
