Building a Sustainable Future Through Engineering

My name is Mohamed Emad Mohamed, and I am a passionate mechanical engineering student from Egypt currently studying at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport. Over the past few years, I have developed a deep interest and hands-on experience in the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) field, particularly in HVAC systems, plumbing, and BIM technologies. Through my academic and practical journey, I’ve had the opportunity to participate in real-world projects, including designing and implementing HVAC systems for Al-Gomhorya Hospital and Jek, and executing plumbing installations in several Saraya residential buildings. These experiences allowed me to work on-site, read technical drawings, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, which strengthened both my technical and communication skills. I have also completed specialized courses in HVAC design, AutoCAD drafting, and Building Information Modeling (BIM). Currently, I am expanding my knowledge by working on engineering reports such as the Khoms Steam Power Plant project and a design study of a plate heat exchanger for milk pasteurization. These projects have challenged me to apply thermodynamics, heat transfer, and system design in practical contexts. ’ve proven my commitment through continuous learning, hands-on application, and a strong desire to grow as an engineer. My ambition is to pursue graduate studies in Building Services Engineering in the U.S., where I can learn from advanced technologies and bring back sustainable solutions to benefit communities in Egypt and beyond.
