History
The University of Foggia was officially born with the Ministerial Decree of 5 August 1999 when the Daunio University became independent after a period of budding from the University of Bari. The origins of the institution, however, have their roots in cultural history of the Italian South. In fact, the first Academies in the land of Capitanata date back to the 1600s.
Career
Peer Career Advising is an innovative personalized guidance counseling service, conducted by senior students who accompany and support new students throughout their course of study in their educational and professional decisions from the very first moment of enrollment. The service, active in all Departments, is totally free but has a limited number.

My hometown does not have a lot to offer, so being able to study there is a big opportunity for me. I like most professors and classes, I enojoy learning. We have a lot of opportunities to re-do an exam, and I find the enviroment of the university very stimulating
