History
CentraleSupélec was officially established on January 1st, 2015, bringing together two leading engineering schools in France; Ecole Centrale Paris and Supélec. The co-operation between our two grandes écoles, as they are known in the French system, had progressively been gaining momentum since 2009.
Education
The Master's degrees that CentraleSupélec coordinates or to which it contributes are high-level courses, open to French and international students holding at least a bachelor's degree and to students at the end of their engineering studies. These courses lead to a national Master's degree and offer an easily identifiable international-level diploma, corresponding to the "M" level in Europe. It leads to further doctoral studies or to direct high-level integration into companies. CentraleSupélec's Master's degree programmes reflect the major axes of development of its research in line with the needs of its academic and industrial partners.
Research
The CentraleSupélec Research Centre will take its place at the heart of investigation, exploration and knowledge creation for the world’s most demanding societal and technological challenges. Our work encompasses the whole of the engineering and systems sciences; with multidisciplinary projects established in close partnership within our academic and business network, and in close and consistent dialogue with the wider economic sector. Our continued focus will be developing innovative responses with an international scope within the 7 core areas on our agenda:
