Within London there are also two free-to-access libraries which you may find particularly useful. One example is:
The British Library which welcomes anyone undertaking research at their reading rooms at St Pancras in London, which are approximately half an hour away by public transport from Middlesex Street.

With its modern and professional study facilities, our London Campus is conveniently located where the financial district meets the heart of London’s digital and technology sector. This gives our students an excellent base from which to take full advantage of all that London has to offer, including work experience and networking opportunities.
Away from the classroom, students can socialise together in the common area or take time to catch up on personal study on one of the many computers available for students. The campus is surrounded by contemporary bars, coffee shops and restaurants that are popular with students and are a great place to relax after classes.
Student clubs
Northumbria Students’ Union (NSU) is located within the Northumbria University London Campus which is at the core of the capital city. The campus is ideally positioned for you to enjoy everything London has to offer while studying at Northumbria. Just like students based at our Newcastle City Campus and Coach Lane Campus, NSU endeavours to give you the help and support you need while you’re a Northumbria student.
