History
The University of Central Lancashire, Cyprus (UCLan Cyprus), has been established since 2012, in Larnaka.
Education
The completion of studies at UCLan Cyprus will result in a Double Degree (two certificates) from the two Universities, UCLan Cyprus and UCLan UK, recognised not only in Cyprus, but across Europe and beyond. Our students will also have the advantage of an exceptional student experience in every aspect of their University life, whether it is learning, personal support, facilities, accommodation, employability and social life, as well as personal development.

The Student Support Services offer the administration of one well-known, professional career tests to prospective and existing students. These enable students to gain accurate insight and a better understanding of the career path that best fits their personality.

Review for UCLan Cyprus
As a student at UCLan Cyprus, I can confidently say that my experience here has been incredibly rewarding. The university offers a unique blend of British and Cypriot education, giving me the opportunity to graduate with a double degree, something that truly sets it apart. The academic standards are high, but the support from lecturers and staff makes a big difference. They are always approachable and genuinely invested in our success. What I appreciate most is the balance between theory and practical application. Many of our modules include real-life case studies, group work, and presentations that prepare us for the working world. The campus itself is modern, well-equipped, and has a welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy to feel at home. UCLan Cyprus also encourages involvement beyond academics. There are many opportunities to join clubs, attend events, or volunteer, all of which helped me grow personally and connect with others. The student community is diverse, and the environment is inclusive and respectful. Overall, UCLan Cyprus has helped me grow academically, professionally, and personally. I feel proud to be part of this university and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality, international education in a supportive setting.
Great experience
I really enjoyed my time at UCLan (so much so I did both my undergrad and postgrad there). As a disabled student, the staff really took the time to get to know me and my access needs and helped a lot. Campus security were amazing too, I felt so safe on campus. The course I took has been discontinued now, but I loved it, and I loved my postgraduate degree too.

good university lots to do. teachers are easy to understand and assignments are easy to do however there is no parking on campus and the support is very limited in terms of mental health. future students should be aware that the academics of this institution is amazing however if you require therapy for mental health or drive a car to commute to university then you will struggle

Student services
The Student Support Services are a modern and friendly place where students can get support and information on various matters concerning student life and study. Student Support Staff consist of Effie Christou -Senior Student Support Officer, Margarita Manoli- Student Support Officer and George Karaolis -Student Support Officer, are available to all students and they aim to enhance students’ higher education experience
Housing services
- The Student’s Nest is a brand new complex specifically built to complement the UCLan Cyprus state-of-the-art Campus, aiming to meet the accommodation needs of the students of UCLan Cyprus.
- The location is ideal as it is located within the University Campus and therefore has all the facilities and advantages offered to UCLan Cyprus students.
- Student’s Nest, with its 171 en-suite rooms,provides students with a modern, comfortable and safe environment for a pleasant student life. It is sprawled over an area of 5,500 square meters and consists of 5 blocks with a total of 49 flats.
Library services
- During term time the Library will be open from 8:30 to 21:00 from Monday to Friday and Saturday from 9:00 to 14:00.
- Please note that these times may be subject to change during the holiday periods.
- Last entry to the Library is 20 minutes before building closing time.
ICT services
Our IT infrastructure provides more than 300 software applications, loan of laptops, and free Wi-Fi across the campus.
Campus life
UCLan Cyprus is set in a modern, purpose–built University campus with state-of-the art academic and operational facilities. It incorporates all of what Audio Visual (AV) has to offer in education, but also in the ever-growing professional communication world, such as distance learning facilities, high-end presentation solutions and innovative multi-use spaces. Students learn in meticulously designed lecture theatres, specialised labs, a Moot Court Room, lecture rooms equipped with interactive whiteboard facilities, seminar rooms and accommodating teaching spaces. Individual and group study spaces allow students to work alone or collaborate on projects.
Sports facilities
The UCLan Cyprus Sports Lab incorporates the latest technological advances in the sport and exercise fields. In addition to its teaching activities, the UCLan Cyprus Sports Lab provides a full range of tests, metrics and exams to athletes of all abilities and sports, from beginner to professional levels, including ergometric tests delivered by accredited Sport and Exercise Scientists.

Accreditation
Prestigious International Accreditation for UCLan Cyprus Law School. The Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) at the brand new Cyprus campus of the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan Cyprus) has been accredited by the Joint Academic Stage Board (JASB) of England and Wales.
