About

History

Institut de Formation de Gestionnaire de Patrimoine (IFGP) was founded in 1995 to provide instruction to private bankers in Switzerland. It became Geneva Business School in 2010, to highlight its purpose of teaching business administration and finance. Geneva Business School started a global expansion opening campuses in Barcelona (2012), in Madrid (2018) and has numerous partnerships around the globe.

Education

Geneva Business School offers bachelor´s, master´s, and doctoral degrees in Finance and Business Administration with seven different majors focusing, among other specializations, on the international, geopolitical and digital aspects of management, marketing, entrepreneurship and finance.

Research

The International Research Centre is the hub for all Geneva Business School-related research activity and specifically programs looking at sports management, technology in business education and on leadership and work in the 21st century, encouraging projects that involve international collaboration primarily on: 

  • Contribution of business and corporate governance to human development and social change.
  • Corporate Social Responsibility & risk management on sustainability and environmental issues.
  • Development and impact of emerging disruptive technologies, and business models in the workplace and society.
  • Cross-cultural, cross-market and global business leadership with a focus on sports, energies and lifestyle industries.

Campus life

With the help and assistance of the Student Council, Geneva Business School organizes and supports sports tournaments, cultural and social activities throughout the academic year, such as BBQs, International Days, and other events.

As a Business School, it is paramount to maintain strong ties between students, encourage team spirit and personal development.

Every campus has its own way of organizing these activities, often through the Student Council, which also offer an alternative way to meet new people and network with organizations.

Accreditation

Geneva Business School has received specialized accreditation for its business programs through the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE), the Association of Accredited Schools of Business International (AASBI) and EDUQUA. Geneva Business School has also strong ties with partner universities, enabling exchange programs
