University of Music and Dramatic Arts Mozarteum Salzburg

In 1841, to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the death of Wolfgang Amadé Mozart, a group of middle-class citizens founded the Cathedral Music Association and the Mozarteum.

The Mozarteum University offers over 40 artistic and education courses in the fields of music, the performing and visual arts.

The Research Promotion Unit is available to all teachers and students of all departments and institutions of the Mozarteum Salzburg University for the development and submission of applications for artistic-scientific projects, awards, research fellowships etc. as well as an interface to the respective organizations.

The University Mozarteum offers a new service for students, alumni and staff: extracurricular, cheap courses and workshops that support a successful entry into professional life.
