I loved all the courses because they had a lot to offer on the different aspects found in hospitality facilities. I also learnt a lot about how to be able to make your customers happy. How it is important to have happy in good working conditions employees as they in return are able to perform well at work. The importance if marketing to make loyal and potential customers to be aware of your facility and always to have it as the first option at most to come and visit. Appearance of a person as well as the plate is important. Branding of your businessfor example logos and front of the house reception, waiters and the furnuture, location, weather, geographical earea at large. Importance of the human resource management, good finance, marketing, great and well platedd food. Always wearing a smile and a good posture to show confidence and having fluent speech between hopsitality provider to customer. Making guests to feel like they are at home. Getting guests reviews to always grow and improve as a hospitality facilities. Adapting to the new trends of technology for example the use of cards in hotel rooms, or using a thum print as it is much easier for guests, and new trends in the hospitality industry to entice guests. Always try your best to make sure a guest is happyfrom the time they arrive to the time they leave so they can always have the best memory about being at your facility, this will always make a guest want to come back because they felt at home. I also learnt how privacy is important in the hopsitalitg industry do your job and mind your business, so one does not get into trouble or create problems for other people. It was hard studying during the covid-19 times because some of the things we were supposed to leaen were limited and one had to learn to teach and lecture themselves at home as well as study, which was risky because you would not know if you are doing a great job at educating yourself for self growth, knowledge and upcoming exams. I learnt how to be able to be firm and alwys stay focused to get to graduate so i can be able to be a better peson. I got motivated by the lectures, how well they were learnered and i always wanted to become like them and also exceed them by working harding always to reap good rewards.
