Good balance theory - practise
Multicultural, open-minded and cdi-recognized engineering school. I love the good balance between the theoretical and practical courses, we've got a good amount of theory but it is well applicated during laboratories and supported exercising.
Supported and Motivated at Erasmus
Studying at the Erasmus University was a positive experience overall. I never had any problems when trying to approach the university in times of need. At times, I was a bit disturbed with the way the university chose to highlight certain subjects and overlook others. In the end this never got in the way of my motivation and lectures had a good explanation for it most of the time. Of course there have been occasions where I disagreed with the way knowledge was questioned in tests, but I think that was more because it frustrated me at that time, not because it was a mistake from the side of the university. The facilities on campus were great. There were enough study rooms, a good library, a beautiful sports building and enough places to eat. They also tried their best to organize things on campus, especially trying to better the mental state of students. All in all, the university did a great job in making me feel home and understood.
