History
The Faculty of Medical Bioengineering’s mission is to contribute to a high quality learning and research in the biomedical field by promoting academic programs and research. The Faculty of Medical Bioengineering continuously adapts and diversifies its academic structure to achieve a suitable education and research environment, according to the international health education reform elements.
Education
The Faculty of Medical Bioengineering bring up specialists both by romanian and english programmes.
Our english programmes are:
1. Physiotherapy (Balneology, physical therapy and medical rehabilitation), 3 years – bachelor’s degree program, fee 3000 euro/year, 45 students/year. Click for more information link bellow:

Research
The research strategy followed by the Faculty of Medical Bioengineering has the following key aspects:
- The capitalization of human potential and material resources in creating interdisciplinary research programs, with scientific and economic impact;
- Improvement of experimental techniques, methods and procedures to international medical standards by equipping laboratories with adequate tools;
- Training researchers and young people in order to be competitive specialists on the European and international research market;- Promote and participate in various interdisciplinary research programs, in partnership with international research centres, universities or companies.

The physio-kinesiotherapist – diagnoses the functional problems and provides treatment, assisting the person to restore movement and/or avoid injuring themselves further

– Prostetics, Pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries
– Engage themselves in advance study in biomedical engineering or a related field.
Biomedical engineers are expected to integrate their engineering skills with their understanding of the complexity of biological systems in order to improve medical practice.
