Student services
Student Welfare and Support is a priority for the ELC and for the University as a whole. Studying at the ELC means that you benefit from daily drop in sessions with our Social and Welfare Officer, should you need information or advice.
Housing services
All of our accommodation options offer private single occupancy en-suite bedrooms with either single or double beds. Residences are on, or close to our campus, classrooms, and its many facilities, which include a large sports centre, restaurants and bars. These halls are lively, friendly communities with great ways to spend your time ranging from cafés to libraries where you will mix with people from all over the world. They also offer private space to study or to relax, and support in case you have any issues.
Medical services
The Counselling Service is here to help you address personal or emotional problems that get in the way of realising your full academic and personal potential.
The Disability Advice and Guidance Team is responsible for the co-ordination of support for disabled students and provides a specialist guidance and support service for all prospective and current students.
Campus life
25% of the student population at the University of Liverpool are international students, therefore you will be part of a diverse international community whilst studying here.
No matter where you come from, it is very likely that there will be other students from your country studying at the University who can help you to orientate yourself to life in the UK. At the same time you will have the chance to mix with students from both the UK and around the world.
Sports facilities
The University of Liverpool is committed to providing students, staff and members of our local communities with high quality sports facilities and opportunities to get active.
Whether you take part in organised activities or independent exercise, our sports services provide a great way to meet people, get connected and achieve a level of fitness and general well-being that can help you with the other, more demanding aspects of University life.
The Centre is accredited and regularly inspected by the British Council, and is a member of English UK, an organisation dedicated to ensuring the highest quality standards in English Language teaching.
