IPADE Business School was founded in 1967 by a group of prominent businessmen with the aim of developing future leaders with the ability to drive social and economic growth, rooted in personal integrity, social responsibility and global vision.


Our 11 academic departments teach participants from across the different IPADE Programs. Our faculty consists of 65 full-time professors. The primary teaching method for classes at IPADE is the Case Method, but professors also use a number of other teaching techniques, including simulations, workshops, negotiating exercises, and panels featuring key players from the cases reviewed in class.


IPADE’s Research Centers promote knowledge development on specific subjects that are deeply linked with our humanistic approach to business.Many of the challenges faced by today’s managers require insights achieved through basic, collaborative, and interdisciplinary research approach.IPADE’s five research centers operate under this belief.

Campus life

IPADE has three main campuses, located in Mexico City, Monterrey, and Guadalajara. In order to meet the needs of communities in smaller cities across Mexico, IPADE also offers its programs through temporary satellite campuses throughout the country and recently has presence in Costa Rica and Panama.The Business School holds its Mexico City campus in The Hacienda of San Antonio Clavería, which was built in the last third of the seventeenth century and restored inthe early fifties.


Through quality and consistency, IPADE has achieved four of the international accreditations that are awarded to the world’s most important business schools:
