I studied Architectural Engineering at Islamic Azad University in Tehran. What I really enjoyed was the lively atmosphere around the campus, with its old textures and authentic architecture that made studying design feel very real and connected to the city. Our professors were supportive and pushed us to think beyond basic coursework. One of my favorite experiences was a public-service project where I designed a school for southern Iran’s climate. That project taught me so much about strategy, people, culture, and how spaces truly affect life.
My studies in Applied Electronics Professional Engineering provided me with a solid technical foundation and strong problem-solving skills. The programme combined theory with practical laboratory work, which helped me understand real engineering systems rather than just memorising concepts. Courses in electronics, control systems, programming, and applied mathematics were especially useful and later helped me transition into data analysis and engineering software development. I appreciated the hands-on projects and the focus on technical applications, but more modern industry tools and additional programming or data-focused courses could further improve the curriculum. Overall, my experience prepared me well for professional engineering work and gave me the confidence to pursue advanced studies abroad.
My time at Islamic Azad University, Tehran Central Branch, was a valuable experience. I really enjoyed the dedication of the professors and the supportive learning environment, which helped me grow academically and personally. One area for improvement could be updating lab equipment and resources to make studying more efficient. Overall, it was a rewarding experience that prepared me well for the next steps in my education and career.
