History
As the longest provider of nurses in Boston, Labouré College has been educating healthcare professionals for 124 years. The College's roots date back to 1892 with the opening of the Carney Hospital Training School for Nurses in South Boston, Massachusetts. The school was sponsored by the Daughters of Charity of Saint Vincent DePaul.

Student services
The faculty and staff of Labouré College are passionate about what they do and about their chosen fields of study and vocation. Our small campus and faculty-to-student ratio create opportunities for a high level of student engagement in the learning process and rich bonds between professor and student. Our staff is focused on supporting each student in ways that enhance academic achievement and support the development of an exceptional healthcare professional.
Library services
The Helen Stubblefield Law Library is open to all members of the College community. Areas of specialization include nursing, neurodiagnostic technology, health information technology, nutrition and food management/dietetic technology and radiation therapy. The library is located on the second floor of the C building.
ICT services
The library fosters judicious use of information technology, particularly as it relates to developing research skills that support evidence-based practice. The library provides access to computers for word processing, E-Racer assisted instruction, and NCLEX review. Additionally, the library provides online services ( Boston Public Library, Online Patron Access Catalog) to its students and alumni.
Medical services
In order to be in compliance with state and College health and safety standards, students must meet a set of requirements. New students must submit required health documentation within 30 days after registering for classes.

Accreditation
Labouré College is registering with the Maryland Higher Education Commission for out-of-state online education programs. Labouré College’s grievance procedures describe the process for the filing and resolution of student complaints.
