History
The University of Bielsko-Biala (Akademia Techniczno-Humanistyczna w Bielsku-Bialej) was founded in October 2001 as an independent governmental academic institution.
Education
The University of Bielsko-Biala is open to new ideas and opportunities which can be utilised to improve modern educational tools. Internationalisation has become one of the most important objectives of the University, and as a result, it is being constantly promoted through participation in various European network projects.
Research
The University cooperates with many academic centres and research institutes all over the world. The number of bilateral agreements is growing exponentially each year – up to now, we have signed over 100 agreements in the Erasmus+ programme, which was created to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe.

Erasmus+
Bielsko-Biała is a city located in southern Poland, near the border with the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The city has a rich cultural heritage and is known for its beautiful architecture, historic landmarks, and picturesque landscapes. Bielsko-Biała is also home to a thriving student population, with several universities and institutions of higher education. One of these institutions is the Bielsko-Biała School of Finance and Law (ATH), where I participated in Erasmus program. ATH is a modern and innovative university that offers a range of undergraduate and graduate programs in fields such as finance, law, management, and economics. The university is known for its strong academic programs, dedicated faculty, and vibrant student community. During my Erasmus program at ATH, I had the opportunity to immerse yourself in Polish culture, learn about the history and traditions of the country, and meet students and faculty from diverse backgrounds. I have also had the chance to participate in extracurricular activities, such as sports, clubs, volunteer work, which could have enhanced my experience and helped to me build new skills. Overall, my Erasmus program at ATH Bielsko-Biała likely provided to me a unique and enriching experience that broadened my horizons and helped me develop new perspectives on the world.
Housing services
The University of Bielsko-Biała offers you offers single, double and triple rooms in the Student Dormitory. Each room is equipped with a wardrobe, a table, a chair, a refrigerator and bed linen (to be changed every 3 weeks). Wi-Fi is included in the price.
