About
History
Higher Medical and Pharmaceutical Education in Bucharest dates back more than a century. Carol Davila, a Romanian physician of French origin, in collaboration with Nicolae Kretzulescu, established the medical education in our country, establishing in 1857 the National School of Medicine and Pharmacy. In the War of Independence (1877-1878) he led the military service of the army.

Research
- The overall objective of the project is the discovery of new therapeutic approaches aimed at the treatment of breast cancer. The primary endpoint is to evaluate the inhibitory effect of newly synthesized compounds on protein kinases in breast cancer, cell culture, and animal model. The compounds to be evaluated are newly synthesized derivatives within UMF "Carol Davila", Bucharest.

With the approval of the Board of Directors and the decision of the Senate of the "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, on 01.10.2016, the Center for Counseling and Career Orientation of UMF CD, hereinafter referred to as the Center for Psychological, Educational counseling and professional.
