The best college!!! Socially, the best experience!
I had a wonderful experience at Skidmore for 4 years. I have really enjoyed my time at Skidmore! My classes have been interesting and helped me develop my interests, the clubs I have joined have been enriching. The other students I have met are truly kind, friendly, and community oriented. I have been super impressed with my professors. If you put yourself out there, it is easy to get involved on campus through clubs and work study. Saratoga is a small city with plenty of options for things to do off campus, and I appreciate that it is possible to walk to town from Skidmore's campus. Overall, Skidmore is an excellent college experience for people looking for strong academics and a community atmosphere in a small, enriching setting.
Debt burden, great profs
The school is in an excessive amount of debt and puts that weight on the students. Not enough parking, housing, or resources for students. The redeeming factor is the amazing professors and small class sizes.
University experience
What I like most about my university is the diversity I mean I really enjoy living with other ethics people there is a lot to learn and it's great to share experience. As software engineering student there was limitations on resources like Internet, lab equipment so I would really to to improve those things.

Campus life
Campus life is special at a small, residential college. Inside the "Skidmore bubble" is the place where students study, eat, sleep, and immerse themselves in college co-curricular life. Through participation in student government, on college committees, in orientation programs, student clubs and organizations, retreats, trainings, and volunteer work, students acquire the skills of leadership, strategic planning, and collaboration and cooperation with people of different perspectives and backgrounds. Co-curricular life is a place where students get to apply what they learn in the classroom, express the values and commitments central to their identities, and develop the core skills and dispositions informed.
