The New Bulgarian University Library was founded in 1995 comprising the collections of three libraries - the old AONSU library, The Master's Faculty Library and the Library of the Law Department. This was the beginning. Overall reconstructure aiming at the furter functioning and development of the newly created library was the next step.
Comprehensive dental care:
The university campus consists of two buildings (Building 1 and Building 2) housing the Aula, Library, University Theater, NBU Museum, UniArt Gallery, Medical Center with a First-Aid Room and a Dental Office, Sports Center, coffee shops, a restaurant and a Bulgarian Posts branch surrounded by trees and with large open green spaces.
Campus and facilities development at NBU is aimed at ensuring modern teaching and learning conditions satisfying the most stringent quality standards.
The National Evaluation and Accreditation Agency, which reviews Bulgaria’s higher education teaching, granted NBU maximum accreditation in three consecutive accreditations in 2001, 2006, 2012 and 2019. Since 2004, NBU is an accredited partner of the Open University UK.
The university has a lot of oppurtinities such as free travelling programs, huge erasmus backround, different computer and Macbook labs. As a design student we were learning mostly in art workshops. For me the only problem was language barrier.
Overall, I am satisfied with the university, of course there are subjects that I like more than others, but my dream is to study abroad, to have a greater field of development, to get to know a culture different from mine and to experience something new and exciting
I really like it. Professors are hard working and if you're willing to do the work it's a great uni.
