University of Gorazde Bosnia and Herzegovina

IUG was established in the year of 2014, and is one of the largest educational projects in the Balkan region. At the very beginning, as a relatively young academic institution it created an open, tolerant and international environment for its students.In the past years we offered good education to local and foreign students,for all three study cycles and developed intensively throughout the years.

At the core of IUG is our wide range of preparatory, undergraduate, graduate and post graduate degree programs.We offer programs taught in Bosnian, English, or Turkish in the fields ofMedicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Nursing, Construction, Geodesy, Architecture, Electrical Engineering, Common Law, Management, Business Economy, Banking and Psychology. We also have joint degree programs with universities from UK, Poland and France.

Research is an integral part of IUG´s mission and work. It is supported by the present Research Statement, the purpose of which is to ensure that the University can produce a significant volume of high quality work in a sustainable way. We have 4 laboratories for the faculty of Health Sciences.

IUG carries out research of an internationally high standard.IUG believes in research topics that are not only in line with the current scientific views, but at the same time are also applicable to real life cases. It supports academic projects which aim to synthesise knowledge from different fields, which can bring well-grounded answers to the complex questions and challenges of our time.

IUG Career Center aims to continuously maintain, strengthen and further develop our corporate network, involve the business world into our education and get our students and faculty involved in the business world. We have signed several cooperation agreements with International companies where our students have an opportunity for internship.

We have signed cooperation agreement with hospitals in Germany and Austria for those students who are studying at the Nursing programs to start their carreer directly after graduation. One of our main goals at the Career Center is to assist students in finding a placement position that meets their interests and where they can synthesise academics with practice.
