History
Founded in 1993, the Faculty of Law is member of the Lille Catholic University. The Faculté Libre de Droit is the first and the biggest private Faculty of Law in France. More than 1,500 students attend the FLD in 2 Campuses: Lille and Paris.
Research
The International legal research department within the school of law is called the C3RD. (Research Centre on Relationships between Risk and Law). It divides its research into two main streams:

- Risk management through law
