The office provides international students with:

• up-to-date information and advice on living in Japan to help international students settle in smoothly.
• easy access to finding advice and services.
• advice and services to promote international exchange activities among international students, Japanese students, faculty members, administrative staff members, and people from the local community.

• Hitotsubashi University Library holds 1.94 million volumes and 16,700 serial titles. The collections in the Center for Historical Social Science Research are of outstanding international significance with more than 75,000 volumes of rare materials in the social sciences including the Carl Menger collection, the Schumpeter Collection, and the Soda Kiichiro collection, to name but a few.

• Approximately 200 computers are available for student use in the Computer Education Building. The Computer Center maintains, manages, and operates the University’s data processing and network systems, thereby contributing to improved research and education and greater administrative efficiency.

• Hitotsubashi University has a Health Center on the West Campus to provide primary care free of charge. 
• There are one full-time doctor, one clinical psychologist, two registered nurses, one registered nutritionist, four part-time doctors and three counselors. Some English-speaking doctors available.
