Kansai University

Kansai University's mission is not to provide human resources and research required by society, but rather to create human resources and creative research that will lead society

Kansai Law School—Kansai University's predecessor—was established at Ganshuji Temple (in Kyomachibori, Nishi-ku, Osaka) on November 4, 1886, through the cooperation of Isshi Yoshida, a Freedom and People's Rights Movement activist, and Misao Inoue, Hisashi Ogura, and Masatada Hotta, all of whom followed the teachings of the French jurist Boissonade.

By drawing on our vast experience and specialist knowledge, Kansai University will construct a mechanism that enables students to become fully invested in our distinctive educational vision, not passively but actively.

As it has always done, Kansai University will nurture researchers par excellence who can be mobilized to make a significant social contribution against the backdrop of diversification and change.

Our University established the Center for Career Development for the purpose of providing career design support and guidance in line with the needs of each of our students.  We aim to provide comprehensive student services.

The Center for Career Development offers various career and job seeking support programs while also providing various types of information on career development and job seeking, all of which is intended to help students, from their first year immediately after admission until they graduate.
