History
Dogus University, which was established by the Doğuş Educational Institution in 1995 and opened by the Law dated 9th July 1997 and numbered 4281 enacted by the Turkish Grand National Assembly, is a foundation university with a public entity.
Education
Dogus University with its rapid academic progress has gained a successful place in higher education in a short time. It has 35 undergraduate programmes in five faculties, 1 programmes in the school of health sciences, 36 associate degree programmes in the vocational school, 21 graduate programmes and 3 doctorate programmes in institute of graduate studies.

Dogus University is committed to a pioneering role in the development of our country in the fields of science, technology, art and culture in accordance with its vision of being a world university aiming at excellence in education, research and service to the society. Contributing to science through research and publication is among the priority values of the University.

My university experiences
My university gained me so much experience and knowledge about my departmant. There are a lot of seminars about the industry and the industire's future. Our teachers was really experienced teachers and most of them have gretaest cv on their studies. My biggest disappointment about my university is there is not too much social communities. My university mostly focused on education. But I think İ studied in greatest city in europe so i can compansete this situation easily.

Student services
The Student Affairs Office carries out duties such as; registration and acceptance of students, preparation and announcement of lesson and exam programmes, ID cards, scholarships ,daily student procedures, all types of office procedures from faculties and vocational school programmes, dealing with registration and withdrawal from classes designated in the academic calendar, preparation of class and exam lists, storing exam documents and marking sheets, conducting transcript, diploma documents and office procedures after graduation.
Library services
Dogus University Library and Documentation Center is an important reference center for students, academic staff, administrative staff and other universities with its data sources. With electronic library services, researchers from Turkey and from various parts of the world, also students access to information and documentation.
ICT services
The computers in the computer labs that all students of Doğuş University use are equipped with all the programmes which allow different studies to be done. There are 12 computer laboratories in different locations in the campus, all with internet connection.
Medical services
At Doğuş University Health Services Centre, examination, remote treatment, emergency interventions are performed and psychological support is provided.Dogus University students and employees can benefit from the Health Services Centre where specialist physicians, specialist psychologists and nurses are located, without paying any fees when they need them.
Sports facilities
The Wellness Centre of the university has been recognised by students to pursue a college life that is intertwined with sports. In the field and studios in the centre; indoor football, basketball, volleyball, handball, tennis, table tennis, dance, pilates facilities are offered. All students at Dogus University can benefit from sports facilities at no charge.
