History
After the inauguration of President Sang-geun You in 1964, its name is changed to Myongji University. After being approved as a 4-year University, school planned and desighned the 10 Development Programs including building new lecture halls, making and organizing departments, establishing graduate schools.

Housing services
The dormitory is made up of 309 rooms for 864 students, 14225.36 yd² in gross floor area. It is the first dormitory built by private capital inducement in March, 2006. Each room of the dormitories is equipped with modern facilities such as air conditioner, auto door lock, LAN Cable and so on.
Library services
The history of the Myongji University library began in 1956 when the Library of Seoul Humanities College opened with over 5000 books donated by the Founder, Dr. Sang-Geun Yoou. It has developed with Myongji University, and now owns approximately 1.1 Million books.
Campus life
The founding purpose and spirit of Myongji Institution is to educate capable individuals not only to contribute to national culture and economics but also to world peace and development of human culture, following Christian truth: believing God, being filial to parents, loving others as oneself, caring and developing nature.
Accreditation
Myongji has been appointed and validated by the Korean Ministry of Education as an institution accredited to receive and manage international students for its excellence in teaching, counseling and administration.
