Spiru Haret University (USH) is the biggest private university in Romania. It was set up and accredited as a higher education institution by the National Education. USH Bucharest is part of Romania de Maine Foundation - founded on the 19th of January 1991 by Professor Aurelian Gh. Bondrea within a social and political context open to the democratic changes in Romania.

Spiru Haret University has adopted the ideals and principles set forth by the Magna Charta Universitatum, ratified in Bologna in 1988, advocating for the transposition, in higher education and scientific research, of the regulations, standards and values voted during the Bologna Process.

Generous infrastructure, high-tech equipment: Spiru Haret University owns locations that are adequate for best teaching and learning, research, cultural, educational and sport activities in Bucharest, Constanta, Câmpulung – Muscel, Craiova, Brasov, Râmnicu – Vâlcea, Blaj.

Sports facilities

The University provides free access to the Spiru Haret University club and to the sports complex (e.g. a 10,000 seats stadium, football fields, tennis courts, volleyball, handball and basketball courts) of the România de Mâine Foundation.
