Until 2003/2004 Baku Engineering University was operating in two temporary service buildings. However, a continually increasing number of students, scholars, and researchers (both local and international) necessitated the establishment of a new campus area.

Grant programs urging utilization of new facilities and research laboratories, also contributed to this need for an expanded campus, since the previous facilities were not sufficient to accommodate the needs of a growing university with its expanding programs and initiatives.

The Sport Administrative Office

• arranges sporting activities in university to engage our students in meaningful

• competitions among universities in and out of the country

• provides comfortable environments for teams in order to practice regularly

• provides sports facilities for the benefit of our students

• also arranges sporting events and tournaments to boost the morale and motivation of the personnel

There are 16 student clubs and 4 social associations that are actively functioning within the university. Approximately 1250 students are vigorously participating in the activities of these clubs and associations. Students organize seminars, panels, and conferences emphasizing contemporary international challenges and support, both spiritually and financially, the poor and needy in their communities.
